About
Tracy Patch
I have happily and passionately been a teacher my entire life. While there is a vast difference between teaching kindergartners, college students and yoga/meditation students, there are strong similarities. No matter the age or circumstance in which I find myself, I approach teaching holistically. I understand that each person arrives with unique needs, traumas, injuries and abilities. I meet them where they are and support them in a gentle way.
Another passion of mine is finding similarities between varying traditions. The more I study, the clearer it becomes that all traditions teach the same thing; “Love, honor and accept each other because everyone has a story about which you may know nothing.” Every time I find one more example of what we all have in common, I am reminded once again that we are all ONE.
I am an E-RYT 200 registered Contemplative Hatha Yoga Teacher and was taught in the Kripalu tradition. My Yoga Alliance registration means I have over 1,000 hours of teaching experience and was trained through an accredited yoga facility. I am also certified as a Yoga Nidra Meditation Practitioner and Teacher through the Shakti Institute. I specialize in gentle yoga, yoga nidra and meditation for anxiety, depression and stress-relief.
Through personal experience, I am convinced that yoga and meditation are the gateway to moving through our challenging world in a more peaceful way. Like the elephant in my logo, my teaching integrates gentleness, nurturing and wisdom. Join me in connecting body, heart, mind and spirit in the Tree of Life.
