Body

In the Tree of Life, our body is illustrated by the roots and thick trunk.  This is our foundation and like a tree without roots, there is nothing to keep us anchored and upright when we aren’t grounded and connected to our body.  In my experience, yoga is the best modality to bring in groundedness and connection. Once awareness is present in the body, we can more fully align with our heart, mind and spirit.

Hatha Yoga

My hatha yoga classes use gentle, slow-moving poses, simple breathing techniques and guided imagery to feel grounded, connected, peaceful and present.  Hatha yoga provides a safe place for you to use your mind, body and breathing in a contemplative, non-judgmental and non-competitive way.   In this environment, your body will gently stretch, strengthen and move with more ease.  These benefits will stay with you long after each class is complete. Whether in-person or via Zoom, I am very attentive to your unique body’s needs and adapt each pose to support you where you are.
